I introduce listeners to my good buddies because they’re studs. My guest on the podcast today is Michael D’Albor. In this discussion, I learned things about my longtime friend that I didn’t know. Consequently, my respect for him has only grown.
A deeply personal chat, Michael talks about the moment he found out his wife was a lesbian after 13 years together (7 years married). He also shares what it was like going through a tough and unexpected divorce.
You’d be mistaken if you think that’s the worst of what Michael’s been through. It’s not. We discuss the split-second of lifelessness that forever changed Michael’s life. He shares how after seeing a flash of lifelessness in his daughter, doctors told him there was a 98% chance she wouldn’t develop the mental capacity of a little girl beyond 3 years old.
He’s now a single father of a special-needs child and shares a “day-in-the-life.”
Michael & I became fast friends as baseball teammates at Nicholls State University. When his playing career was over, he earned his MBA and went into commercial banking. We talk about his career, finances, love and money. Also, what he’s learned traveling to places most Americans will never get to see i.e. rural parts of Czech Republic; towns 75km from Amsterdam.

In this 14th consecutive solo episode, I start with the “SNL 50th Anniversary Special.” They rolled out classic skits that “didn’t age well,” according to Tom Hanks. But let’s be real—those were the best skits of all-time—back when Saturday Night Live was funny and we could make fun of each other. Then “wokeism” turned every
In this 13th straight solo episode, you’ll find that I’m highly opinionated. I get into human nature and how it shapes the crazy political landscape we’re in right now. I talk about my fascination with the little details in life—how watching ants go about their business or admiring the brushstrokes of an impressionist painting can
